DIY Moisturizing Pet Balm for Dry Paws, Noses & Elbows
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil virgin or unrefined is preferred
- 1 Tbsp. shea butter
- 4 tsp. beeswax pellets/beads yellow or white
- 4 drops lavender essential oil optional
Instructions

In double boiler, add all ingredients and melt over low heat. Stir often until well blended.

Carefully pour warm mixture into container.

Let cool until firm. This balm will not dry rock hard. It should be the consistency of soft butter at room temperature.

Cap and label.

Apply balm as a preventive or moisturizing treatment to help soften dry paw pads, noses and elbows.
